This video was inspired by another edit, linked here, and you know that video is 5x sweeter than anything I can make. So instead I decided to make something 5x less sweet than that but a still pretty dope and short edit of the John Wick movies. The story of this one goes that I knocked out the first 20 seconds of this in a night, I was literally just throwing clips onto the timeline and the timing was insane how perfect it flowed, and then I struggled with the last 40 seconds for months. I completely scrapped that part 6 different times until I cobbled together the video you see before your very eyes. The audio was a big learning area for me this time around (Look below for a picture of the final timeline) as I was dealing with two movies in 7.1 Audio and one in 5.1. And look, I ain’t no Premiere Wizard so I was out here juggling 11 different audio tracks which was new to me. And espeically the way the John Wick movies are mixed, they would have gunshots with audio comprised of 4 or 5 different channels. Having to edit the gunshots to sound decent while minimizing the amount of real movie background noise and soundtrack was a difficult task especially when I was doing it for hours just to scrap my work and start from scratch. So I guess watch the video or don’t, live your life bro. Let me know what you liked and what you didn’t, I live for feedback. I need people to stroke my ego just for one person to shove a fistful of humble omelette down my throat and I’ll be like “ew is there cheese on this omelette?” because I don’t like cheese and it’s gross and that will completely negate allof the positive comments.
